The vest has 4 waistbands and 4 strong “nexus” fasteners that
ensure a perfect fit around the body. The 4 fasteners make sure the vest stays
on during mishaps at high speed.
The lightweight PE foam padding makes for a very comfortable wear. Extra PE
foam side impact protection pads protect the wearer from injury when losing
their balance at high speeds.

Besto Inflatable 150N Lifejackets
The Besto inflatable vest offers a sophisticated body fit that guarantees optimal body movement and comfort.
The collar is fitted with a strap to keep it in place. The vest is supplied with strong synthetic fibre or stainless steel fastening to allow easy adjustment.
Once inflated, the signalling whistle, reflective strips and lifeline appear automatically.

This 150N lifejacket automatically inflates within 5 seconds of coming into contact with water. The vest also allows manual activation for extra safety.
This design will therefore turn an unconscious wearer onto his/her back and keep the upper airways clear of the water.
The built-in life belt is approved in accordance with the EN 1095 norm and fitted with stainless steel fastening and a stainless steel D-shaped ring to attach a lifeline.
Suitable for use by adults over 40 kg. The minimum buoyancy of this vest is 150N in inflated mode.

This buoyancy aid is specially designed for the safety of man’s best
friend. For the duration of its sojourn at or on the water, your dog will remain
highly visible thanks to the High Visibility fabric used in the design of this
special dog vest. The vest consists of a cover filled with light PE foam filling
and fitted with dual ventral belts and a single collar with buckles that are
both easy to adjust and close. The vest will in no way impair your dog’s
freedom of movement. D-shaped rings fitted on top of the cover allow easy attachment
of a leash. A strong lifeline attached to the top of the vest makes it easy
to (quickly) pull the animal out of the water. Extra advantage: The vest will
also protect your dog against cold on or at the water.

Please note: A lifejacket or buoyancy aids will be effective only if:- you have chosen the right category and model according the kind of use
you want it for. - you have chosen the right size according the weight (without clothing)
of the wearer. - you done, wear and maintain the jacket according the enclosed manuals.
- you wear the jacket each time when there is a risk of failing into
the water. - you never wear it under need your clothing/jacket.
- you test the jacket before using it, so you check if the jacket
works as desired and needed (teach children how to turn/floatate in this
jacket. - Check your lifejacket/buoyancy aid for damage regularly.
- Non-inflatable vests contain foam. You must check the effectiveness of
the vest in the water once a year. - In the case of an (automatically) inflatable lifejacket, the salt tablet
and the gas cartridge must be replaced after each use. A replacement set
can be bought for this.

Storage and maintenance
After use at sea, first rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Allow wet veststo dry thoroughly before stowing them. Do not place the vest on or near a source
of heat but simply hang it up to dry.
Store in a dry, dark place where the conditions fall within the limits of
-30 degrees Celsius to 60 degrees Celsius. Do not attempt to repair or make
changes to the vest yourself. In the case of damage, send or take the vest

Remarks
- 100N/150N: Do not wear in combination with a safety harness. This can damage
the vest. - Wearing buoyant clothing and waterproof clothing may influence the effectiveness
of the vest. - For BESTO Inflatables, use only gas cylinders with a content of 31-33
g and a ½” UNF closure. - Do not use a vest as a cushion (for sitting).
- Do not use in combination with a disposable diaper (nappy).

Check the CO² cylinder
Unscrewthe CO² cylinder and ensure that it has not been bored through. If this
is the case, throw it away. Screw the cylinder in firmly by hand. For more
information, we refer you to the ‘rearming kits’.
Automatic version
Checkboth safety indicators (see below). If one of the two green indicators is missing,
and/or the CO² cylinder is bored through, the lifejacket must be rearmed.
